Expectations of Males

| How has your experience with the first man in your life—your father—affected your expectations of males or the way you relate to them?  What, to you, is the challenge of walking out into the world alone and unattached to a male?  You can’t have any relationship without trust. Trust is the root from which love springs and continues to grow. How do you answer the question “Can I trust him?”  More telling than whether a male is attracted to you or likes your family or admires your intelligence is his enjoyment of you. Your sense of being enjoyed tells you whether you can trust him. Does this male just plain like you for who you are? Your adventuresome spirit may be an irritation to some, or your quietness may be misunderstood by many, but this male enjoys those kind of things about you and sees in them real value and worth.  When have you felt enjoyed by a male for who you are, and how would you describe the experience? What kind of impact did it have on you? |
